Caffe Ladro opened its doors on Upper Queen Anne in 1994—just a couple of steps away from a coffee giant. Bold move? We accepted the challenge, and “the Coffee Thief” was born—stealing hearts (and taste buds) with better beans, buttery pastries, and friendly baristas. What started as one cozy café and bakery has grown into 16 Ladro locations across Seattle and its suburbs. Each one still serves up the same ethically sourced coffee, warm smiles, and fresh treats that have made us a neighborhood favorite from day one.

At Ladro, we’ve always believed great coffee starts with great relationships—and a commitment to doing things the right way. In 2011, we launched Ladro Roasting to bring that philosophy full circle.
We source green coffee through long-standing partnerships with importers, farmers, and millers who share our values. Then our expert roasting and production teams take over, ensuring every batch reflects the best of the season—and that our wholesale partners serve coffee they’re proud to pour.
