Description
Hambos Pups was founded in 2021 by Danielle during the height of the pandemic. Stuck at home with her new and anxious rescue dog, Pocket, she set out with one goal: to create a durable toy that could withstand Pocket's nervous energy. Using just a leather hole punch and a piece of scrap leather, she crafted a pizza slice-shaped squeaky toy that kept Pocket entertained for an entire afternoon. That first success sparked a passion for creating better, longer-lasting pet products.
From toys to designing durable and functional leashes and collars, Danielle became focused on making high-quality gear that outperformed typical pet store options. Her goal is simple—helping people and their dogs connect through products that are built to last and designed for real-life adventures.
We source the highest-quality materials and hardware, and put them through rigorous tension and stress tests to ensure every leash is reliable and built to last. Using hydraulic pullers designed to find breaking limits, our products have been tested and proven to withstand over 800+ pounds of force. The result? Gear you can trust—strong, durable, and ready for whatever adventure comes your way.
We proudly make all of our gear in the heart of Seattle, Washington
-
Sourcing
We source our strapping from Biothane USA and our hardware from trusted companies like AustriAlpin, known for thoroughly testing their products for strength and reliability.
-
Measure. Cut. Sew.
Every product is proudly crafted with attention to detail and not sent out unless it passes our safety inspection and meets our industry standard.
-
Bartack Stitching
We use a structural bartack stitch that weaves into the Biothane's nylon core, creating a strong, reliable connection without puncturing the material like rivets. These stitches won’t rust or crack over time.
