On Rope Canyoneering

On Rope Canyoneering makes rope bags, skid plates, and other technical gear built specifically for the demands of canyoneering — plus a free library of canyon beta, GPS tracks, and topographic maps covering routes across Arizona, Utah, and Nevada. Every product is field-tested in actual canyons before it reaches a customer, not just designed at a desk.

The company started in 2013 when founder Jeremiah Beltran, unable to find gear made for canyon conditions, started prototyping rope bags himself. Encouragement from local canyon crews pushed the hobby into a real product line, and he’s kept building relationships with manufacturers ever since to develop gear that holds up to the extremes of the sport. Jeremy still runs the whole operation — designing gear, posting new beta, and getting into the canyons himself whenever he can.
