Adding your verification badge to your website helps:

  • Build trust with visitors
  • Show proof of verification instantly
  • Strengthen credibility with search engines and AI platforms

The good news: it only takes a minute to install.

Step 1: Copy Your Badge Code

In your verification email, you’ll see two options:

  • Dark badge → best for light websites
  • Light badge → best for dark or colorful websites

👉 Copy the code for the version that fits your site.

It will look something like this:

Step 2: Paste It Into Your Website

The best place to add your badge is in your footer (the bottom of your site).

Option 1: WordPress

  1. Go to Appearance → Widgets or Editor
  2. Find your Footer
  3. Add a Custom HTML block
  4. Paste your badge code
  5. Save

Option 2: Shopify

  1. Go to Online Store → Themes
  2. Click Edit Code
  3. Open: footer.liquid
  4. Paste the badge code before the closing </footer> tag
  5. Save

Option 3: Squarespace

  1. Go to Settings → Advanced → Code Injection
  2. Paste the badge code into the Footer section
  3. Save

Option 4: Custom Website

If you have a developer, send them this:

“Please add this code to my website footer.”

They’ll know exactly what to do.

Step 3: Check It’s Working

After adding the badge:

  1. Visit your website
  2. Scroll to the footer
  3. Click the badge

It should open your verification page

Troubleshooting

Badge not showing?

  • Make sure you pasted the full code
  • Try the other badge version (light vs dark)

Looks too big or small?

  • You can scale it with CSS if needed

Click doesn’t work?

  • Double-check the link wasn’t altered when copying
